the red dress society™ 'Angel' Awards celebrates passionate, sacrificial and facilitating leaders of social causes and/or enterprises they have founded, funded and/or consistently involved in.

he need for the red dress society™ was realized in 2004, after Angelina Musik-Comp, the founder of the MOMtrepreneurs™ Network had a severe head trauma in a car wreck.  For the first time Angelina and Daniel realized that a life’s work could be gone in an instant and nobody would even know the years of sacrifice and hardship that had brought it to the point of public recognition.

Is the the red dress society™ a non-profit?

No, yet we have served many non-profits through what we do. After a decade of generously giving through our web technology company, Intelligent Netware, our omni-media women in business organization & network MOMtrepreneurs, to individuals, organizations (non-profit & social) and communities (metro & rural), it is our preference to remain as a social enterprise. This gives us the freedom to change and improve what we doing on dime as daily changes in technology impact our method of serving our causes and the outcomes.

 

Is this a fundraising event?

This is NOT a fundraising event. Funds generated from the event go towards the production of the event, filming, marketing and costs associated with producing the . Through this event we can help build awareness of the social causes, connect them with each other to encourage collaboration, and provide the opportunity to film a brief video summary to help the organization share its mission, accomplishments and needs with others through their website and marketing material, and most of all recognize those making a difference.

 Why did you create the 'Angel' awards?

As a leader of a social cause ourselves we know first hand the blood, sweat, tears and prayers that go along with fighting for, supporting and growing a cause. Most leaders and teams of social causes do not get the recognition for the sacrificial work they do. This is a common problem we feel is important to address, and who better to be recognized than those making a difference towards humanity as a whole.
